The recently crowned 2010 Asian Touring Car Series Champion, Charles Ng, took his Honda Integra DC5 to set the fourth fastest time of the day in the CTM Macau Touring Car Race at the Guia International Circuit today.

The G.Harry Racing Team driver leads the six Asian Touring Car Series registered drivers this weekend with Ben Law Man Pun, Man Ting Yu and Chan Wing Shu starting in 27th, 28th and 29th on the grid respectively.

Danny Chau Kwok Sang and Cheung Chi Sing of Team IMSP both exceeded the maximum qualifying times and will not be starting the race on Saturday. Cheung, 2009 ATCS Champion, suffered from gearbox failure during the session going out for only one lap and was unable to set a qualifying time.

The drivers are competing against some of the best Asian touring car drivers in the CTM Macau Touring Car Race scheduled to be held on Saturday, 20 November 2010 at 11.55am during the Star-River Windsor Arch 57th Macau Grand Prix. A total of 35 drivers from around Asia will be competing in the 12 lap race tomorrow.
