Motorsport Asia has just learnt of the passing of Ronni Zulhamdi Bin Abdul Majid (Ronnie as he is known), a team engineer with Meritus.GP. Our condolence goes out to his wife Norfaezah Shamsuddin, the Abdul Majid family, friends and teammates.

The 29 year old, Automotive Engineering graduate from Tractors Malaysia Training and Development Centre, previously was a team member of the Petronas Formula Experience before moving on to Meritus.GP in the junior single seater, JK Racing Asia Series.

Ronnie was a gregarious character and a hardworking individual who will be sadly missed by all.
