Motorsport Asia is proud to announce a new partnership with JAS Forwarding Worldwide for the JK Racing Asia Series. The partnership was finalised recently where JAS Forwarding Worldwide will provide logistical services for all JK Racing Asia Series teams for the 2012 Season.

The 2012 Season of the JK Racing Asia Series will present a huge logistical challenge, with the cars and equipment travelling globally more than 37,000 kilometres from the first event in Malaysia, to France and Belgium, returning back to Singapore before going on to India and finally returning to Malaysia in December.

JAS Forwarding Worldwide is a global logistics provider that is vastly experienced in providing efficient and reliable logistical services across the globe. The company also provides services for other race organisers and race teams in either MotoGP, SBK, FIM Endurance, FIA GT1, Macau GP and Superstar Series.

JAS Forwarding Worldwide will be managing all of the transportation needs for JK Racing Asia Series, including the operational management of shippers owned 40ft containers. JAS Forwarding Worldwide will be providing resources and dedicated staff equipped with in-depth knowledge and expertise of Motorsport logistics to support the management of Motorsport Asia with the necessary logistical services and solutions.

Efficiency and reliability of logistics is one of the main pillars for Motorsport Asia to be able to expand its range, and number of events for the years to come, and JAS Forwarding Worldwide is entrusted to make it all happen.

JK Racing Asia Series 2012 Season will begin at Sepang International Circuit, Malaysia, with the Introductory Test scheduled for 23rd May 2012 followed by the Official Test Session held on Thursday, 24th May 2012. The first four Rounds of the JK Racing Asia Series will be held over the 26-27th May weekend, in conjunction with the Malaysian Super Series.

The JK Racing Asia Series will continue its run at some of Asia’s leading Formula One circuits, including Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia, Spa Francorchamps in Belgium, Marina Bay Circuit in Singapore and at the Buddh International Circuit in India.

In total, 16 races will be held as part of the 2012 season.

JK Tyre & Industries, the leading tyre manufacturer in India, is the title partner for the JK Racing Asia Series.

The JK Racing Asia Series is currently the only Junior Formula that provides a unique opportunity where the drivers are given a platform to compete in front of the Formula One fraternity.
