GT Asia is proud to announce a partnership with Stand 21 for the 2012 Season. The renowned race attire company is now a part of group of partners that is closely associated with the Series, including Graham London and AutoArt.

“We are proud to have such a prestigious racing brand supporting the GT Asia Series. They are another example of the high value and prestige that the Series has become known for in the span of a few short years” said David Sonenscher, CEO of Motorsport Asia.

“We have been tirelessly working to put together a most interesting race package for the drivers participating in the Series” said Paul Yao, CEO of Supercar Club Hong Kong. “With Stand 21, the drivers have an interesting package to produce their own custom race attire”.

For over 40 years, Stand 21 has been fitting drivers of all categories with race gear that conforms with the strictest high standards providing comfortable yet safe race wear.

Yao added, “We have also got two other interesting partnerships, with the confirmation from Endless Japan that they will provide specially made brake pads for the upcoming test session and they are also extending special prices for Series drivers for the 2012 season.

“Last but not least, we have secured a partnership with IMSP who are now confirmed as the official logistic agent for the Series this season.

The GT Asia Series has come a long way from a club event started in 2003, under the name Asian Supercar Challenge (ASCC). The calibre of race drivers has also grown along with the Series, with new drivers joining each year. Also the increase in participation of more supercar brands including last year’s Audi and McLaren.

The GT Asia Series will be starting off the 2012 Season with two races in Malaysia at the Sepang International Circuit before heading off to Japan for three race weekends at the historic circuits of Fuji, Suzuka and Autopolis.. The Series will then make its way to Macau for the Season finale, as part of the prestigious Macau Grand Prix in November.

The GT Asia Series is supported by Graham London, Auto Art, Stand 21, Endless and IMSP. The Series is jointly organised by Motorsport Asia and Supercar Club Hong Kong.
