Audi claimed another win, this time in Macau during the Star River Windsor Arch Macau GT Cup with Edoardo Mortara. The Italian set a stunning pace and kept his closest competitor, Keita Sawa, more than three seconds behind throughout the race.

Sawa took his Lamborghini LP-560 across the line in second, ahead of Daniel Watts who put a lot of pressure on the Japanese in the McLaren MP4-12C GT3.

Mok Weng Sun was declared the winner of the GT Asia Series Season Finale, which was held as part of the Macau GT Cup, and was named the 2011 GT Asia Series Champion. He crossed the line in fifth behind the Porsche 911 GT3 R of Rodolfo Avila and the Aston Martin DBRS9 of Tomonobu Fujii.

The Lamborghini LP-560 Dilantha Malagamuwa crossed the line in eighth, behind Richard Meins in the second Audi R8 LMS. Ferrari F430 GT driver, Eric Lo finished ninth while Keith Vong completes top ten in the Porsche 997 GT Cup 3.8.

The 12 lap race was marred by a spectacular high speed crash at the fastest turn at Guia Circuit, causing six drivers to retire.
